Here are a few other places of interest that you can easily reach from The Green House

Huaran-Calca

Huaran is located 9 km from the Town of Calca in the middle of The Sacred Valley. It is a small community dedicated mainly to agriculture. Huarán is not a tourist stop which will give you a real feeling of community living in a safe environment.

Great treks and landscapes. Local art and handicrafts are available in our place. We can give you plenty of information on things to do. Ask us!!

Waterfall

Located approximately one leisurely hour walk from The Green House. This is a easy trek from our place were you will experience the beautiful view of the waterfall of Arin and once at the top, the amazing view of the valley. You can be accompanied by our own guide (Laika the dog).

Cancha Cancha

Six hour round trip walk through the beautiful scenery of Huarán. You will pass native forests, flowing rivers and streams before reaching the community of Cancha Cancha were you can see a native living village surrounded by snow top mountains.

Yanacocha

Full day trek (approximately 8 hours). A hike up the mountain, across cultivate lands and forest of native trees, ending up at the beautiful black lagoon (yanacocha). Stunning views!.

Urubamba river forest of Huaran

15 minutes walk to the Urubamba River and small eucalyptus forest of the area.
