Pisac

The Green House hotel is located near the town of Pisac. You can easily reach Pisac from the hotel by bus (30 min) or by taxi (20min).

Pisac is the largest fortress city temple complex of the incas, and one of the largest of ancient America. With its great expanse of terracing areas, crossed by paths in stairways, massive stone entrance doors, the ceremonial centre of Intiwatana or solar clock, military area, incan tombs and several water canals.

Pisac market comes alive every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, which is held in the plaza de Armas. You can shop till you drop or just sit in the many cafes situated around the square and watch all the beautiful communities and bloom of colors situated around you.

Pisac is one of the best markets, you can find almost everything in one place and part of the appeal of shopping here is the bargaining.
